Job summary

QI SHUN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. on-site supervisor position to lead a team of construction workers in Singapore. You will manage formwork erection, rebar tying and steel welding, read drawings, set out dimensions and ensure work adheres to drawings, specs and method statements while enforcing safety.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant site experience, communicate in English and Mandarin, and coordinate with subcontractors. Long‑term permanent role with a stable salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant site experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for on-site communication; knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of construction workers on site.
• Carry out and supervise formwork erection, rebar tying and steel welding.
• Study and interpret construction drawings and set out dimensions, levels and alignment.
• Ensure works conform to drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Check quality and rectify defects; report progress to Site Manager/Project Manager.
• Enforce site safety and conduct toolbox talks; ensure PPE and good housekeeping.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on sequence, deliveries and site access.
• Monitor material usage and site stock; report shortages/wastage.
• Arrange and check tools; ensure storage and safe use.
• Maintain daily site records — attendance, work done, machinery usage, safety checks.
• Train junior workers and ensure safe work practices.
• Attend site meetings and report incidents or delays to Site Manager promptly.
