Job summary

Penta-Ocean Construction Company Limited is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer for a land reclamation project at Tuas. You will lead day-to-day civil works, review technical drawings, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and monitor dredging and ground improvement activities to meet safety, quality, and progress targets.

The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of site experience on reclamation or marine works with large contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by Singapore authorities.
• Minimum 5 years of civil site experience on reclamation/marine works with large contract value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day civil engineering works for land reclamation projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and method statements and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Monitor reclamation, dredging, and ground improvement processes; resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure safety, quality, and progress targets.
• Manage project documentation including reports, permits, and design submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
