Job summary

Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead day-to-day civil engineering works for a land reclamation project in Singapore, based in Tuas.

You will supervise site teams, review drawings and method statements, and ensure safety, quality and schedule targets are met. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities, monitor dredging and ground improvement works, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of civil site experience, with at least 1 reclamation/marine project and contract value >= SGD 200 million.
• Strong understanding of reclamation, ground improvement, marine works, and coastal engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day civil engineering works for land reclamation projects, ensuring safety, quality and progress targets.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and method statements; provide feedback and solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor dredging, filling, ground improvement, and other reclamation processes; ensure compliance and quality.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Manage project documentation including reports, permits and design submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
• Support planning, scheduling and resource allocation to optimize timelines and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
