Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a CE PYE Failure Analysis Engineer to provide fault isolation and failure analysis for qualifications, new device introduction, and test failures.

You will isolate electrical failures and collaborate with Product, Test, Quality, and Reliability Assurance teams to accurately identify defects. You will work closely with frontend to backend teams and lead a group of CE PYE technicians, delivering weekly reports on failure mechanisms and driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic/Semiconductor Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, able to present to large meetings.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data analytics in engineering/manufacturing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine failure mechanisms.
• Operate fault isolation equipment, including nProbing, to localize defects and support fault analysis.
• Conduct physical failure analysis to identify defects.
• Hypothesize failure mechanisms based on electrical models and analysis.
• Collaborate with frontend to backend and GQ to address defectivity.
• Prepare and present electrical/physical failure mechanisms weekly.
• Develop and implement new fault-isolation and analysis techniques.
• Lead and guide a team of CE PYE technicians.
