Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a CE PYE Failure Analysis Engineer to provide fault isolation and failure analysis for qualifications, customer returns, new device introduction, and test failures.

You will perform electrical characterization and collaborate across frontend to backend teams to drive improvements. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to present complex findings in large meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Materials Science; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication; able to present complex information in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms.
• Operate fault isolation equipment to narrow down failure defect locations.
• Conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects.
• Establish and hypothesize fail mechanisms to support process improvement.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and GQ teams to address defectivity issues.
