Job summary
ENVIRODYNAMICS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of lithium-ion battery packs from concept to production.
You will shape battery architecture, module layouts and 3D CAD models, while guiding prototyping, testing and validation to ensure production-ready solutions. The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on battery design experience, strong CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks) and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet safety
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in battery pack or battery module mechanical design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
- Experience in engineering simulation and analysis; ANSYS is an advantage.
- Educational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and development of lithium-ion battery packs from concept to production.
- Develop battery architecture, module layouts and 3D CAD designs.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis to optimise safety, performance and reliability.
- Drive prototyping, testing, validation and design improvements.
- Evaluate battery technologies, suppliers, costs, risks and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant battery safety and transportation standards.
