Job summary

Revolut Singapore is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to keep our microservices lean and deliver high-quality, test-driven code. You’ll work on critical services in the SSO and payments ecosystem, writing in Java 17+ and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will own backend features end-to-end, mentor teammates, and help scale our platform to support millions of users worldwide while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field.
• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing microservices to evolve our architecture
• Building systems for risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focusing on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
