Job summary

Singtel seeks a Lead AI Engineer to own the design and delivery of AI and Agentic AI solutions across the organisation. You will guide a team of AI and software engineers, providing hands-on technical direction and ensuring secure, scalable production-ready systems.

You’ll translate business requirements into actionable tasks, drive end-to-end development, and align with enterprise architecture, security controls, and platform standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering full stack software and AI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/NodeJS and SQL.
• Experience designing and leading LLM-based and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design of AI and Agentic AI solutions aligned with architecture and security.
• Translate requirements into detailed technical specs, tasks and implementation plans.
• Oversee full development lifecycle for AI, software and automation workflows; provide hands-on guidance.
• Provide technical leadership across backend, frontend, API integration, LLM orchestration and middleware.
• Review designs and enforce engineering standards, code quality and performance.
