Zusammenfassung

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Laser Production Technician in Singapore to manufacture and test lasers, laser sub-assemblies and components against documented specifications.

You will perform fiber handling, splicing, routing, pig-tailing, and operate laser diodes while troubleshooting fiber-based assemblies. You should have an ITE or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong technical competence in optical, mechanical

Qualifikationen

ITE or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in laser/fiber assemblies.
Technical competence in optical, mechanical or electrical assembly.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and work with multiple variables.
Experience in troubleshooting technical issues.

Aufgaben

Manufacture and test lasers, sub-assemblies and components per specifications.
Handle fibers: splicing, routing, pig-tailing and operate laser diodes.
Troubleshoot fiber-based assemblies and laser diode issues.
Assemble fibers and optical/mechanical/electrical subsystems to spec.
Install and align subsystems into systems using precision instruments.
