Job summary

The Housing and Development Board is seeking a motivated Land Surveyor to help shape Singapore’s public housing landscape. You will apply your land surveying and geomatics expertise across project life cycles, collaborating with Registered Surveyors, planners, engineers, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Background in land surveying or geomatics with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with GNSS/RTK, robotic total stations, UAVs, and CAD/GIS/BIM tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise land survey works undertaken by Registered Surveyors appointed by HDB, including site inspections and technical checks to ensure the quality and adequacy of survey works.
• Provide technical and surveying input to planners, architects, engineers, and project teams, and resolve survey-related issues affecting the planning, design, and implementation of HDB developments.
• Investigate and resolve complex survey, boundary and site discrepancies involving surveyors, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory authorities on cadastral, strata, land and survey matters to facilitate timely resolution and approvals.
