Job summary

ITE Institute of Technical Education in Singapore is seeking a proactive Technical Officer to support the operation of laboratories, workshops, and college facilities. You will manage assets, inventory, procurement, and ensure safe, well-maintained training environments in line with policies and audits.

You will maintain equipment, perform servicing and repairs, handle stock control, and prepare training materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or diploma in engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience in laboratory/workshop support environments is preferred.
Experience with asset management, inventory control and procurement processes.
Knowledge of lab/workshop safety practices and equipment maintenance is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Support operation of laboratories, workshops and college facilities.
Maintain assets, stores and inventory; tag and conduct regular checks.
Procure equipment, tools, consumables and training materials; liaise with vendors.
Maintain and prepare training materials and equipment for practical sessions and assessments.
Ensure safety compliance and assist audits (ISO and others) and keep records up to date.
Perform other operational or administrative duties as assigned.
