Job summary

Qualifications

• Suitable credentials in Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Relevant experience in laboratory, workshop or technical support environments.
• Experience in asset management, inventory control and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of laboratory/workshop safety practices and equipment maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems or operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain electrical engineering laboratories and workshops.
• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs of laboratory and workshop equipment.
• Manage assets, stores, and inventory, including asset tagging and stock control.
• Handle procurement of equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory and workshop training materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and institutional procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring facilities and records are audit‑ready.
