Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is assisting a Manufacturing MNC in Singapore West to recruit a Lab Technologist for the Lab Team. The role focuses on hands-on R&D laboratory activities, formulation, testing, and benchmarking within ongoing transformation projects.

Responsibilities include field trials, product applications, and tests under supervision, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical related field.
• 1-2 years of lab/QA experience in relevant industry.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D laboratory activities, including formulation, panel preparation, application testing, product evaluation, and benchmarking.
• Assist in field trials, product applications, and inspections under supervision.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis, including sampling, measurement, recording, and reporting of paint test results.
• Provide support to chemists in product development projects and assist with laboratory housekeeping, inventory control, and general lab operations.
• Keep the line manager informed of project progress, test results, and any delays.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations, laboratory procedures, and workplace safety requirements, including the safe handling of chemicals and materials.
