Job summary

DYMAX Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diligent Lab Assistant to support Adhesive R&D activities, including preparing developmental samples and performing testing and scale-up tasks.

The role involves maintaining laboratory equipment, managing chemicals and inventories, and compiling data reports in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with clear charts and tables. Ideal candidates hold an ITE diploma or equivalent in chemistry or a related science and show strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in chemistry or related field.
• Familiar with chemicals and raw materials handling.
• 0–3 years' relevant experience in coating paint or adhesive industry is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
• Able to carry equipment and raw materials up to 20kg.

• Preparation of developmental samples.
• Developmental product performance testing and data reporting.
• Laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
• Chemical storage and inventory, lab consumables management.
• Collects, organizes, and reports data and conclusions in WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint formats, utilizing appropriates charts and tables. Issues professional, formal reports upon completion of projects.
• Chemical list, sample list, and evaluation data, customer test feedback management, and documentation.
• Works safely and wears personal protective equipment in required areas.
• Assigned lab hands-on work.

Skills/Qualifications:
