Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is looking for a candidate to assist in laboratory activities such as preparing samples, performing tests, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role welcomes candidates without experience as comprehensive training will be provided.

What You Will Do

• Prepare metallographic/chemical samples using analytical tools to evaluate coating/structural and chemical quality.
• Perform related mechanical/chemical tests.
• Ensure conformance of turnaround time of lab analysis.
• Assist in waste store management and supporting Total Preventive Maintenance for lab equipment.
• Assist in purchasing related administrative work such as RFQ, PR & PO issuance.
• Solve technical issues as appropriate in daily routine work.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Always demonstrate responsibilities in compliance with EH&S, Quality and Ethics’ Code of Conducts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Aerospace related Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
• Able to work on night/rotating shifts and OT including rotational weekends.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in laboratory work is preferred.
