Job summary

Labcorp in Singapore is seeking a Sample Handling Associate I to join our team. You will manage human biological and radioligand specimens, register and prepare items for storage and shipment, and ensure quality checks and safety procedures are followed.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Applied Science, Biotechnology or Radiological Science, with 3+ months of lab experience. Shift pattern includes Tues–Sat with one or two Sunday commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Applied Science, Biotechnology or Radiological Science.
• 3 months or more of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge/experience with radioligand specimens or radioactive materials is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage human biological and radioligand specimens.
• Register and place specimens in temperature-controlled drawers in a timely manner.
• Pre-scan, register, process, pull, and pack specimens using the in-house system.
• Identify and route problem specimens.
• Dispose of specimens following appropriate procedures.
• Create new storage drawers for registration.
• Consolidate and move drawers to optimize freezer space.
• Monitor temperature and document lab conditions.
• Retrieve specimens from storage for pulls.
• Prepare shipments and apply labels as required.
• Perform final quality checks before shipment release.
• Stock supplies from the warehouse.
• Complete mid-day and end-of-day checks.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety procedures.
• Maintain audit trails and training records.
