NEA National Environment Agency in Singapore seeks a scientist to support the incineration plant operations by ensuring smooth laboratory, wastewater, water treatment, and flue gas systems. You will consolidate data for quality control, maintain records, and oversee safe sample handling and timely testing in compliance with standards.

The role requires a BSc in Chemistry, 6 months to 1 year lab or plant experience, and strong MS Office skills with good communication and teamwork.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Chemistry and Biological Chemistry.
• 6 months to 1 year lab or chemical plant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong writing and communication.
• Ability to lead and work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate and analyse data for process quality control.
• Manage laboratory records and submission of data for compliance.
• Ensure proper storage, transportation, handling, and disposal of samples; calibrate and maintain equipment as per SOPs.
• Conduct tests on process samples and emissions to verify results against procedures.
• Develop and implement preventive equipment maintenance schedules.
• Procurement of goods and services, track inventory, monitor contractor performance, and administer contracts for lab and water treatment plant.
• Assist in formulating, preparing/revising SOPs, laboratory testing, and plant emergencies procedures.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
