Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor/Manager to coordinate daily laboratory activities and supervise technicians and management. You will ensure safety, monitor equipment and quality, and drive process improvements in line with MOH regulations in Singapore.

Candidates should have 8+ years in a central or clinical lab and a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Microbiology. The position is based at International Business Park.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years' work experience in a central lab or clinical laboratory.
Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily activities, answer questions and solve problems.
Supervise compliance with safety rules within the department.
Monitor the operation of equipment.
Monitor quality of work within the department to ensure standards are met.
Solve complex problems.
Monitor analytical and post-analytical issues related to samples including investigation and remediation.
Propose optimizations to work processes, procedures and work regulations.
Act as PPIC responsible for management and control of business or tissue banking activities as per MOH requirements.
Liaise with MOH and CGO for applying, maintaining and/or cessation of activity various regulations including PHMC, HBR framework, Biosafety, Waste management.
Be responsible for new CSV and assay validation by the team in Singapore
