Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Team Leader to oversee daily laboratory operations and lead a team in delivering high-quality and timely testing services.

You will coordinate activities, supervise Laboratory Technicians, ensure safety and SOP/ISO compliance, monitor equipment, drive process improvements and lead validation activities in Singapore. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field and 8–10 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences field.
• 8–10 years of experience in a central or clinical laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems and ISO standards.
• Experience with assay troubleshooting, QC/PT investigations and operational lab supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laboratory activities, manpower planning and workflow.
• Supervise Laboratory Technicians and liaise with Laboratory Management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, SOPs, ISO and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues.
• Oversee sample handling, investigations and remediation.
• Monitor turnaround time and sponsor requirements.
• Drive process improvements and optimise workflows.
• Lead CSV and assay validation activities in Singapore.
• Oversee inventory management and import licences where required.
• Troubleshoot assay, QC and PT failures.
