Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to coordinate daily lab activities and supervise technicians. You will be the main contact for Laboratory Technicians and Management, ensuring safety compliance and high-quality output in a central or clinical lab setting.

The role requires a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent, with at least eight years of hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' work experience in a central lab or clinical laboratory.
• Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities, answer questions and solve problems.
• Supervise compliance with safety rules within the department.
• Monitor the operation of equipment.
• Monitor quality of work within the department to ensure standards are met.
• Solve complex problems.
• Monitor analytical and post-analytical issues related to samples including investigation and remediation.
• Propose optimizations to work processes, procedures and work regulations.
• Act as PPIC responsible for management and control of business or tissue banking activities as per MOH requirements.
• Liaise with MOH and CGO for applying, maintaining and/or cessation of activity various regulations including PHMC, HBR framework, Biosafety, Waste management.
• Be responsible for new CSV and assay validation by the team in Singapore

About the role

Coordinates the daily activities and supervises the execution of the work in the laboratory. Acts as the point of contact for the Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Management.
