Job summary

Molex is seeking a Knowledge Management Engineer to drive capture, distillation, and reuse of critical engineering knowledge across our organization. You will transform lessons learned, technical expertise, and risk prevention knowledge into reusable assets that improve product development, manufacturing excellence, and decision-making.

You will be part of the DSS Knowledge Management team, collaborating with PDE, DPE, AQP, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and global partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in engineering, quality, manufacturing or knowledge management.
• Experience facilitating lessons learned, knowledge capture, or technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA methodologies and leading workshops.
• Excellent writing, speaking, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive capture and reuse of Foundation and project FMEAs using AIAG-VDA methods.
• Lead lessons learned sessions and extract insights from engineering activities.
• Transform technical data into actionable knowledge assets for decision-making.
• Promote reuse of knowledge via Foundation FMEA updates and improvements.
• Provide training and support for knowledge management tools and platforms.
• Develop training materials and run workshops to foster knowledge sharing.
• Manage knowledge repositories, ensuring quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to improve knowledge processes and adoption.
• Explore AI-enabled solutions to enhance knowledge capture and content creation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
