Job summary

ASIA COFFEE HOUSE PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites applicants for a Kitchen Assistant role. You will assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation, wash, cut, portion and prepare ingredients, and help with simple cooking tasks.

You will pack, label and store ingredients and prepared food, maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, assist with receiving and arranging stock, and follow food hygiene and workplace safety requirements. Training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, cut, portion and prepare ingredients.
• Assist with simple cooking and food handling duties where required.
• Pack, label and store ingredients and prepared food.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist with receiving and arranging stock.
• Follow food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other reasonable kitchen support duties assigned by the supervisor.
