As a Kitchen Helper you will assist the culinary team with food preparation, uphold impeccable cleanliness and hygiene, and help organize workspaces to the group’s high standards, with opportunities for career progression within the growing organization.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong positive work attitude with willingness to learn.
• Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for dishes.
• Prepare basic components like pastes and sauces.
• Ensure ingredients prepared according to recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
• Perform dishwashing duties and sanitize utensils and equipment.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries using FIFO.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
• Work with the team during peak service hours.
• Support chefs and senior staff as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
