Job summary

FK HUMAN RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a kitchen assistant for a busy noodle shop in Bishan, Singapore. You will assist with daily kitchen operations, prepare and sort ingredients, and help with basic food preparation when required.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, stock ingredients, and follow food safety standards. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, with a long day shift and a mid-day break, offering a demanding but rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Relevant kitchen or food preparation experience is required.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare, wash, cut and sort ingredients according to requirements.
• Assist with taking orders and basic food preparation when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area.
• Store food ingredients properly and assist with inventory/stock management.
• Follow all food hygiene and safety standards.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste properly.
• Assist with dishwashing when necessary.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
