Job summary

Tung Lok Millennium Pte Ltd is seeking a kitchen helper to assist in preparing and handling dim sum items in a fast-paced setting in Singapore. You will support the dim sum chef with ingredient prep, shaping, steaming, and packaging, while ensuring hygiene and proper storage practices.

The role requires stamina to stand for long periods and the ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Familiar with traditional dim sum items and cooking techniques.
• Able to follow recipes and portion guidelines.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Standing for long periods is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of dim sum items.
• Handle production machinery and handmade dim sum.
• Support the dim sum chef in ingredient preparation, mixing, shaping, steaming, and packaging.
• Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in the work area according to food safety standards.
• Label and store ingredients and finished products appropriately.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
