Job summary

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice in Singapore is hiring permanent kitchen staff to support busy service hours. You will work in the kitchen assisting chefs with food preparation, marinating meats, and keeping the work area clean and well-organised.

Open to shifts that include evenings, weekends and public holidays, with at least 5 hours per day and 5 days per week. The role requires a 2-year F&B background, clear communication with customers and team, and commitment to food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1).
• Minimum 2 years of F&B experience.
• Ability to speak clearly to communicate with customers and team members.
• Well-groomed, positive working attitude and professional manner.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in the kitchen assisting chefs with food preparation tasks, including marinating meats.
• Support chefs in ensuring the kitchen area is clean, organised, and well-maintained.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen utensils.
• Properly store ingredients, label dated items, and assist with stock rotation in compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
• Work collaboratively and respectfully with all kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
