Job summary

ELLiott Moss Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Junior UX/UI Designer to support the end-to-end UX/UI design process across digital and AI-enabled projects.

You will work closely with designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into practical design solutions. The role focuses on creating wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity interfaces using Figma, applying usability and accessibility principles, and assisting with usability testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in UX Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, HCI, Digital Design, CS or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design or related role.
• Fresh graduates or career switchers with a strong portfolio may be considered.
• Proficiency in Figma, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Knowledge of UX design principles, user-centred design methodologies, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals.
• Understanding of design systems, reusable UI components, and design consistency.
• Basic understanding of accessibility and usability principles.
• Experience or interest in usability testing and incorporating user feedback.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools is an advantage.
• Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team; eagerness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centric digital experiences from concept to high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centric digital experiences from user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
• Translate business and user requirements into clear, functional, and visually engaging UX/UI solutions.
• Create and maintain design components in accordance with established design systems and UI standards.
• Use Figma to develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Explore and apply AI-enabled design tools and emerging technologies to improve design workflows and productivity.
• Apply fundamental UX principles, visual design standards, usability principles, and accessibility considerations across digital experiences.
• Support user research activities, design workshops, usability testing, and documentation.
• Assist with workshop preparation, facilitation, and documentation for clients and end users.
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Present design concepts and communicate design rationale clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
