Job summary

Astek Singapore Innovation Technology PTE. LTD. is seeking a UI/UX Designer who creates intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate user needs into practical design solutions.

You will balance user research, interaction design, and visual design, develop design systems, and contribute to web and mobile interfaces. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Proven UI/UX Designer experience with strong UI design.
• Portfolio showing user-centered design thinking and visual design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.
• Knowledge of UX principles and accessibility best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, business goals, and product requirements
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Design intuitive interactions and experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI guidelines, and reusable components
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, data, and stakeholder input
• Ensure consistency, accessibility, and usability across all digital touchpoints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with strong experience in UI Design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design thinking and visual design skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Good understanding of UX principles, usability standards, and accessibility best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
