Job summary

The Garcha Group seeks a dedicated kitchen operative to support busy restaurant operations in Singapore. You will assist in setting up workstations, prepping ingredients, and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards.

With 2–3 years in hospitality and a valid WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate, you will join a team that values teamwork, cleanliness, and timely service across multiple in-house outlets. English proficiency is required for guest communication.

Qualifications

• Hospitality industry experience: 2–3 years preferred.
• Proficient English communication, both written and spoken.
• Professional certificate/NITEC or equivalent required.
• Reliable, diligent and trustworthy team player.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain kitchen workstations with all ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare ingredients, portioning, sauces, and other prep tasks.
• Cook menu items per recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely, consistent service.
• Follow directions from Executive/Sous Chefs and senior staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
