Job summary

The Garcha Group is recruiting for a Kitchen Associate to support its Singapore hotels. The role involves setting up and maintaining kitchen workstations, preparing ingredients, and cooking menu items in line with recipes and presentation standards.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of hospitality kitchen experience, be proficient in English, and hold a Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent with a valid WSQ Level 1 Food Safety certification.

• Ability to follow recipes and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain kitchen workstations with ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare ingredients and portioning for service.
• Cook menu items per recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen team for timely and consistent service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling and stock rotation.
