Job summary

NAEUM Restaurant Group operates three concepts and is seeking a Junior Sommelier to grow their beverage career with the Group, primarily based at our 1 MICHELIN-starred anchor restaurant NAE:UM.

You will contribute to wine service, tastings, and guest experience while developing expertise in wine culture within a fine-dining setting.

Qualifications

• Education in Culinary or Hospitality is preferred.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Interest in wine culture and service in a MICHELIN setting.

Job description

NAEUM Restaurant Group operates three concepts: i) NAE:UM, a 1 MICHELIN-starred restaurant serving contemporary Korean cuisine, ii) HIDEAWAY by NAEUM, our private dining space, iii) GU:UM Contemporary Grill, a premium Korean steakhouse.

We are currently looking for a Junior Sommelier to grow their beverage career with the Group, to be primarily based at our 1 MICHELIN-starred anchor restaurant NAE:UM.

Requirements

• Education related to Culinary or Hospitality industry
• Prior experience in a MICHELIN-accoladed restaurant's Front of House line, with an interest in the wine culture
• At least WSET Level 2 or higher certification
• Languages: strong command of spoken and written English. Korean language ability a bonus.
