Job summary

DXC Technology invites applications for a Junior Software Engineer trainee to develop technical skills and contribute to real-world projects within enterprise software environments. Trainees may receive opportunities for advancement after successful completion of the six-month program.

Candidates should be recent graduates (2024–2026) with a Diploma or Bachelor0s in CS/IT/SE, and a strong foundation in Java, databases, and cloud technologies.

All trainees must fulfill the following criteria:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
• Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
• Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026

Applicants must have no prior work experience and be willing to commit to a six-month full-time traineeship.

Candidates must be willing to be assigned to any DXC or client office location across Singapore, depending on project requirements.

Requirements

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have foundational knowledge of Java programming.
• Have basic knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Have exposure to cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Have an understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrate an interest in AI-driven software development and emerging technologies.
• Are adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
