Job summary

RECRUITFLASH PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor position based in Singapore. The role encompasses preparing Bills of Quantities, reading drawings, and performing measurements to support tendering and project procurement.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 1 year of local experience, with strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract terms. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Advanced knowledge of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities and measurements from drawings.
• Read drawings and perform measurements accurately.
• Understand tender/contract/specifications/terms of contract.
• Analyse quotations, prices, rates, build-up rates, and pricing.
• Carry out all tender activities necessary for procurement of new projects.
• Oversee submission of Main Contract progress claims, variation claims, and EOT claims.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements and final accounts.
• Resolve contractual disputes with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
