Job summary

LBD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to support project and contract teams. You will prepare cost comparisons, obtain quotations, measure quantities for cost planning, and handle variations and final accounts.

Entry-level to 3 years' experience with a main contractor, familiarity with PSSCOC/SIA/REDAS contracts, and a relevant degree are required. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a team setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidate or 1-3 years' experience as a QS with a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC, SIA, and REDAS contracts.
• Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A team-oriented attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and analyzing cost comparisons to support procurement decisions.
• Obtaining quotations and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measuring quantities and taking off for cost planning and progress claims.
• Preparing Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, and sub-contractor payments.
• Supporting pre-contract administration, including tender preparation.
• Handling general QS duties as required across project phases.
