Job summary
A leading bank in Singapore is seeking an Operations Officer to join its Global Financial Markets Operations team in Jurong East. This entry-level role supports the processing and reconciliation of Cash Equities, Vanilla Options and Crypto ETFs.
The position offers a 6-month renewable contract with standard office hours and benefits including 14 days annual leave, medical/hospitalisation leave, insurance coverage and performance bonuses.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates welcome if proficient in VBA/PowerAutomate.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- A basic understanding of financial markets or products is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing and reconciliation of transactions related to Cash Equities, Vanilla Options, Funds and Crypto ETFs.
- Support accurate data entry, validation and maintenance across various internal systems.
- Identify and elevate discrepancies or issues to senior team members for resolution.
- Assist in generating reports related to trade activity, positions and settlements.
- Maintain proper documentation of processes and transactions.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the team as required.
- Provide support on Corporate Action related matters.
