Peoplebank Asia is seeking a Junior Global Markets / Equities Operations Analyst in Singapore. You will join a dynamic Global Markets / Equities Operations team supporting institutional clients and work with Sales, Trading, Compliance and other Operations units to ensure accurate processing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in Finance or related internship.
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Technology or related discipline.
• Tech-savvy with an interest in systems, data and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the processing and monitoring of equity and synthetic transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Review trade details and understand the economics and lifecycle of transactions to ensure accurate booking in internal systems.
• Monitor operational workflows and assist in resolving trade exceptions and discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements and other internal teams to support day-to-day operations.
• Assist with reporting and presentations covering operational and compliance metrics.
• Identify recurring issues and workflow gaps, supporting improvements to accuracy, efficiency and risk controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and small-scale workflow enhancements, leveraging technology where appropriate.
