Clarksons, a leading maritime services group, is seeking a Junior Shipbroker to join the LNG desk in Singapore. The role involves fixing LNG tankers, providing market reports to Owners and Charterers, and expanding client relations across the Far East.

A background in LNG or gas broking is preferred, with strong English communication and interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates will be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced broking environment, and capable of building long-term relationships with

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a shipbroker
• Experience in LNG or gas broking preferred
• Excellent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Fix LNG tanker fixtures in LNGC/FSRU/Small Scale segments
• Provide market information/reports to Owners and Charterers
• Expand and develop contacts with Owners and Charterers in the Far East
• Liaise with the Group’s global offices to optimise business
• Prepare charter parties and fixture documentation when required
