Job summary

Kerry Consulting is assisting an international energy group in Singapore to hire an LNG Trader. The role focuses on trading physical LNG cargoes across the Pacific Basin and other regions, with responsibilities to develop strategies and manage risk.

The candidate will work with global teams and must have at least 2 years LNG trading experience, Pacific Basin exposure, and strong analytical and communication skills, using Excel and VBA to support decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years LNG trading experience, preferably Pacific Basin.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills with ability to quantify risk.
• Proficient with Excel and VBA for trading decisions.

Responsibilities

• Trade physical LNG cargoes across the Pacific Basin, Middle East, JKTC and SEA.
• Develop physical and financial LNG trading strategies based on fundamentals and market flows.
• Capture optimisation and arbitrage opportunities with the global team.
• Support negotiation of medium- and long-term LNG opportunities.
