CHINA GAS INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a commercially driven LNG Trader with 5-8 years of hands-on trading experience to join our Singapore-based trading team.

The role focuses on physical LNG trading, portfolio optimization, and PnL generation across global markets. The candidate will execute physical LNG trades, identify arbitrage opportunities, optimize cargo flows and pricing structures, manage trading position, and monitor market risk while collaborating with risk/control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Energy, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on LNG trading experience.
• Familiar with global LNG markets and pricing, contracts, and logistics.
• Oil and gas trading experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of China’s natural gas market.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical LNG trades (spot and term cargoes) across regional and global markets.
• Identify and exploit cross-basin arbitrage opportunities.
• Optimize cargo flows, delivery windows, and pricing structures.
• Manage LNG trading position and contribute to trading PnL.
• Monitor exposure and market risk (price, freight, optionality).
• Collaborate with risk/control teams to ensure compliance with risk limits.
• Engage with counterparties, brokers, and shipping/logistics teams to originate and execute transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams for trade execution.

Overview Of Role

We are seeking acommercially driven LNG Trader with 5-8 years of hands-on trading experience to join our Singapore-based trading team.The role of focuses on physical LNGtrading, portfolio optimization, and PnL generation across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute physical LNG trades (sport and term cargoes) acrossregional and global markets;
• Identify and execute cross-basin arbitrage opportunities.
• Optimize cargo flows, delivery windows, and pricingstructures;
• Manage LNG trading position and contribute to overalltrading PnL;
• Monitor exposure and market risk (price, freight,optionality);
• Work closely with risk/control teams to ensurecompliance with risk limits;
• Track global LNG supply-demand fundamentals, pricing benchmarks;
• Analyze global LNG fundamentals, including supply-Demond dynamics, pricing benchmarks and shipping economics;
• Generate and implement trading strategies based on market dislocations and opportunities;
• Engage with counterparties, brokers, and shipping/logistics teams to originate and execute transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams for trade execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Energy, Economics Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on LNG tradingexperience.
• Familiar with global LNG markets, strong understanding of LNG pricing, contracts, and logistics.
• Candidates with oil and gas trading experience are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of China’s natural gas market.
