Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an application support specialist for Java/J2EE applications to join our team. You will troubleshoot using Unix commands and SQL, support web applications and batch jobs, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet SLAs.

The role requires hands-on Unix/Linux and SQL experience, knowledge of JBOSS and MariaDB, and a degree or diploma in IT or CS. You must be willing to learn, work in shifts, and contribute to delivering quality support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an application/production support role.
• Recent experience with Java/J2EE applications.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux commands and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL and Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of job scheduling and MQ setup.
• Graduate with a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong willingness and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work on shifting schedule.

Requirements

• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL and Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of job scheduling and MQ setup
• Exposure to the banking industry is an added advantage.
• Graduate with a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
