Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Manager - IT on a 6-month contract to lead system-related projects, coordinating with business stakeholders, IT teams and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

You will drive planning, requirements gathering, UAT, and oversee budgets, schedules, resources and quality to ensure successful outcomes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer related studies or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of working experience in managing application development.
• Knowledge and experience of insurance domain is preferred.
• Project Management skill/experience.
• Willingness to learn insurance systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a problem solver.
• Able to deliver tasks on time with high quality results.
• High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of system-related projects with objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to evaluate proposed solutions meeting business needs and technical requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards for successful outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues with mitigation strategies.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes, track actions, and follow up on deliverables.
• Drive and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and ensure timelines.
• Support system operations with Head, Projects and Systems to keep applications stable and aligned with needs.

Lead and manage system-related projects and initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of system-related projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to evaluate proposed solutions, ensuring they meet business needs, technical requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and escalade project risks and issues proactively, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on agreed deliverables.
• Drive and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with stakeholders to ensure testing is completed within agreed timelines and business requirements are met.
• Support system operations and work with the Head, Projects and Systems to ensure business applications remain stable, effective, and aligned with operational needs, including handling ad hoc assignments as required.
