Job summary

The Edge Contracting Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Application Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of enterprise application initiatives, coordinating with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors.

This hands-on role requires leadership across initiation to go-live, managing plans, budgets and risks while ensuring projects meet scope, timeline and quality expectations. The contract is for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of IT experience, with solid experience managing application or technology projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise application implementations, enhancements, integrations or migrations.
• Strong understanding of the application delivery lifecycle and cross-functional team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of application projects, from initiation through implementation, testing, deployment and post-production transition.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources and delivery dependencies.
• Coordinate across business stakeholders, analysts, development teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity and external vendors.
• Manage multiple workstreams and priorities to deliver within scope, timeline and quality expectations.
• Facilitate requirements discussions, solution workshops, project meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover and go-live activities.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and changes with escalation and mitigation plans.
• Manage third-party vendors and technology partners, including progress and performance.
• Ensure governance, documentation and status reporting for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with support and operations to ensure smooth production transition.

Application Project Manager – 12-MonthContract

The Edge Contracting Services (TECS) is looking for an experienced Application Project Manager to support our client's technology initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of enterprise application projects and working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors.

This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable operating in a complex enterprise environment and managing multiple stakeholders and project workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of application projects, from project initiation and requirements through implementation, testing, deployment and post-production transition.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource requirements and delivery dependencies.
• Coordinate across business stakeholders, Business Analysts, application/development teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage multiple project workstreams and priorities while ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed scope, timeline and quality expectations.
• Facilitate requirements discussions, solution workshops, project meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Oversee project activities across development, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT),deployment, cutover and go-live.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, with appropriate escalation and mitigation plans.
• Manage third-party vendors and technology partners, including delivery progress, dependencies and performance.
• Ensure appropriate project governance, documentation, status reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Work closely with application support and operational teams to ensure smooth transition of new or enhanced applications into production.
• Support continuous improvement and application enhancement initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of IT experience, with solid experience managing application or technology projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise application implementation, enhancement, integration, migration or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of the application delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design/build, testing, UAT, deployment and production transition.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams comprising business, technical and vendor stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder management, vendor management, risk management and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or other relevant project management certification would be advantageous.
• Experience working with business-critical or enterprise applications in a large organisation would be advantageous.
