Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Equity Execution Trader for a leading hedge fund in Singapore. The role will execute equity trades across Asia-Pacific, working closely with Portfolio Managers and analysts to understand trading requirements and execute efficiently.

You will monitor market conditions, liquidity and flows to inform decisions, develop strong relationships with brokers, and provide market colour and trading intelligence to investment teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of equity trading/execution experience.
• Experience at a leading hedge fund or asset manager.
• Strong understanding of cash equities and Asian markets.
• Experience supporting discretionary long/short equity strategies.
• Knowledge of market structure, liquidity and execution.
• Excellent communication with portfolio managers and investment professionals.
• Commercial mindset with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

A leading global hedge fund is looking to add an Equity Execution Trader to its team in Singapore.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of equity trading/execution experience, from a leading hedge fund, or asset manager

• Experience supporting fundamental/discretionary long/short equity strategies required
• Strong understanding of market structure, liquidity and execution
