Job summary

Sephora is hiring an entry‑level Data Excellence Executive in Singapore to build reliable, scalable data solutions, develop data models, dashboards, and reports, and learn how Sephora data supports business decisions.

You will work with senior analysts and data engineers, focusing on SQL data models with DBT, and creating dashboards in Power BI or Domo, ensuring data quality and governance.

This role suits a fresh graduate eager to learn, with a degree in analytics or CS and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts, gained through coursework, internships, personal projects, or previous employment.
• Exposure to data transformation or modelling tools such as DBT.
• Exposure to a BI or data visualization platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo, through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and an interest in building accurate, reliable, and maintainable data solutions.
• A willingness to learn new technologies, understand business processes, and develop through feedback and hands‑on experience.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop data models using DBT to support reporting, dashboards, and analytics use cases.
• Transform raw data into structured, reusable datasets under senior guidance.
• Follow development standards including version control, code review, testing, and documentation.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and support reliable, maintainable solutions.
