Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Singapore invites applications for an Assistant Facilities Engineer to join our data-centre operations.

Reporting to the Critical Services Manager and Building Services Manager on a rotational basis, you will be exposed to the full range of mechanical, electrical, fire, and building services within our facilities. The role focuses on supporting 24/7 critical services, leading a team of shift engineers and technicians, and participating in a structured training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering or related field.
1–3 years of facilities management/engineering experience; fresh graduates welcome.
Knowledge of data center mechanical infrastructure including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of all MEP systems in data centres.
Coordinate with shift teams for 24/7 coverage and smooth handovers.
Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance; liaise with vendors for upgrades.
Ensure safety, compliance with building codes and EH&S regulations; maintain documentation.
Evaluate systems to identify improvements; collect and analyse data and reports.
Assist in strategic initiatives to enhance mechanical system performance.
