Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to manage data-centre mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors.

You will lead a team of assistant facilities engineers and technicians, coordinate 24/7 coverage, and drive preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in data centers.
• Experience managing technical teams and 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation, operation, and maintenance of data centre mechanical systems.
• Lead a team of assistant facilities engineers and technicians.
• Plan and supervise preventative and corrective maintenance with vendors.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation for audits.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with operations teams.
