Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring an Assistant Facilities Engineer placed under a training programme to gain exposure to data centre operations and maintenance.

The role supports Critical Services and Building Services teams to ensure 24/7 operation of mechanical, electrical, fire, and building systems, while upholding safety and compliance standards. The successful candidate will assist in leading shift engineers, coordinate with vendors, and develop a well-rounded understanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, building services engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in facilities management/engineering/building services; fresh grads welcomed.
• Knowledge of data centre mechanical infrastructure (HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps).

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of MEP systems in data centres; ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate 24/7 shift coverage and handovers; optimize resources.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance; coordinate vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and EH&S regulations; maintain documentation for audits.
• Evaluate systems to improve operations and gather data for reports.
• Support initiatives to enhance mechanical system performance and growth.
