Job summary

PERSONNEL LINK JOBHUB PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior Buyer East of Singapore to manage procurement for direct materials and coordinate with suppliers to keep production loading on track. The role involves creating blanket POs, following up on acknowledgements and deliveries, and monitoring stock levels to minimize disruptions.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree and at least 1 year of experience. This position is based in the East of Singapore with salary up to $4K per month.

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Create blanket purchase orders for long lead time items (direct materials).
• Create POs to suppliers to support production loading plan.
• Follow up with suppliers on PO acknowledgement, delivery confirmation and overdue deliveries to minimize supply disruption and ensure MRP system is updated.
• Monitor material shortages, excess inventory and potential supply risks, and escalate issues promptly.
• Monitor and track supplier on-time delivery performance and lead time monthly.
