Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior Business Analyst (Microsoft Azure, SQL Databases) to provide IT operation support for ETRM systems and other business applications.

You will collaborate with business users, Azure infrastructure engineers, ETRM vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of supported systems. Responsibilities include reporting, security log reviews, incident reports, IT audits, and Azure SQL Database administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SQL databases is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT teams and external partners to support projects, system enhancements, and operations.
• Prepare and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports including service and incident reports.
• Participate in IT audits and support evidence collection and compliance reviews.
• Perform Azure SQL Database administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with management, end users, and IT vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance performance and reliability.
• Coordinate UAT with users and report issues identified during testing.

About the role

IT Support Engineer for ETRM systems. Provide IT operation support mainly for ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) system, as well as other business applications. Collaborate with business users, ETRM vendors, Azure infrastructure engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the operation of supported systems.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with internal IT teams and external partners to support projects, system enhancements, and operational initiatives




• Prepare and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports, including monthly service reports, security log reviews, incident reports, and operational documentation




• Participate in IT audits and support audit-related activities, including evidence collection and compliance reviews




• Perform Azure SQL Database administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting




• Coordinate with management, end users, and IT vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner




• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational processes




• Support project team by coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) with users and report on issues identified during UAT

About you

• Diploma or Master/Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited polytechnic, university or college in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent




• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SQL databases is preferred




• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate will be an advantage




• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail




• Good communication and stakeholder management skills




• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment




• Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes
