Job summary

A global leader in flavor and fragrance located in Singapore is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to be a technical resource on Environment Health & Safety. You will develop EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience. This role requires hands-on work in a production environment, with a focus on safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Chemical/Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Offshore sectors.
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.
  • Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF.
  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
  • Willing to perform hands-on job.

Responsibilities

  • Be a technical resource on EHS and fire protection.
  • Compile EHS data reports for monthly meetings.
  • Develop EHS programs to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and inspections.
  • Lead and implement hazard control programs.
  • Lead programs for hazard evaluation and control.

Senior EHS Specialist - Your future position

In this exciting role you will :
  • Be a technical resource on Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and fire protection
  • Compile EHS data reports and documentation and present information during monthly WSHC meeting
  • Develop EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments & workplace inspections to recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Conduct training classes and education programs to reinforce EHS awareness
  • Lead and implement programs for the recognition, evaluation and control of physical and chemical hazards
  • Evaluate new processes, chemicals and equipment pertaining to EHS aspects
  • Oversee site security management and sustainability data such as waste reporting, water and electricity usage
  • Other tasks/projects assigned by Supervisor

  • Possess a Degree in Engineering
